







Many people believe a tiny home must be of a specific building style – mobile. Others believe the tiny home must be a stand-alone single-family dwelling. None of these statements are absolutes. They can be both or some other configuration providing it fits into the definition of a tiny home.
Recall the International Residential Code defines a tiny home as 400 square feet or less not counting any potential loft space.

This last photo is an actual photo of the tiny homes being constructed at Vanilla Bean Inn in Hopkins Village, Belize. This is a tiny home development with multiple residents and is intended to inspire a sense of community. The intent is also to provide opportunities for a really good investment.
I wrote another blog where I included several links to YouTube channels showcasing the wide variety of homes. Some are very basic, but some are beautiful. But notice they don’t all follow a specific building style.
